Viola Labi is a first-generation Canadian-Ghanaian luxury retail specialist and founder of Woven Worldwide. She has over 13 years of retail experience with global brands including Burberry, ZARA, Loewe, Celine, Valentino, Chloe and Alexander Wang.
In 2015, Viola shifted gears to further explore Ghana. Much like other re-patriarchs, she wanted to connect to her heritage and was eager to use her professional experience to make an impact. Her visits revealed opportunities within Ghana’s fashion value chain and prompted her to curate culturally appropriate solutions to meet local needs. The result was Woven Worldwide, a retail Consultancy.

Viola merges her affinity for Earth’s natural resources, social impact and retail to share a contemporary narrative of Ghana through the lens of a fashion. Viola has won the attention of Essence Magazine, Forbes, BBC, CNN & Elle Canada Magazine where she has been featured.
Viola continues to mobilize her ability to leverage culture, skill and tech to scale her business and will be completing the ELLE International Fashion and Luxury Management Program at MIT Sloan – Executive Education- Fall 2019.
