Natalie Retzlaff is the wife of the ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ghana, mother of three children and active member of Accra based diplomatic Association of Spouses of Heads of Missions (ASOHOM) as well as patron of
the project‚ Sowing the Future of NGO Madamfo in Ghana.
She grew up in Zurich, Switzerland, studied at Brookes University in Oxford, UK, graduated in Geography and Development Studies from University of Geneva, Switzerland and completed a postgraduate diploma in urbanism from University of Bordeaux, France.
In Berlin she was working for, Bread for the World’, a German non governmental organisation operating worldwide in development cooperation projects. She specifically assisted the division Joint Conference Church and Development in organising panel discussions with representatives of government and parliament, science, development partners, religious leaders and civil society. Prior to this she contributed to advocacy work related to social justice and family policy in Bonn, Germany.
