Gwendolyn Alston Douglas is a native of Brooklyn, New York and currently resides in Glen Allen, Virginia. As an entrepreneur, she is the Executive Director of T & T Promotions providing professional services to non-profit and government organizations by coordinating conferences, fundraisers, concerts, and trainings. One of her most notable projects, held in Richmond, Virginia “One America in the 21st Century: The President’s Initiative on Race” was recognized by John Hope Franklin and President William J. Clinton.

On May 20th, 2017 she was elected to serve her third term (2008, 2011 and 2017) as president of the Cavalier Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association. During her first term, she led the business league into receiving the highest level of awards given by the national organization, “Best Practices – Level 1”. Her goal is to accomplish the mission of bringing together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition.

As a keynote speaker and inspiring facilitator, her experience with youth and women continues to result in speaking engagements during International Youth Conferences and conventions held throughout the United States. She has traveled to the Israel, Greece, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico, Italy, Bermuda, The US Virgin Islands, Turkey, Amsterdam and multiple states in the U.S.
