Gwendolyn Alston Douglas is a Project & Program Director with over 25 years of achievement across the Business, Nonprofit, Government, Legal, and Education sectors. She is currently the Executive Administrator for the Commonwealth’s Attorney in Richmond, Virginia.

As a volunteer, she serves as the President/CEO of SCORE in Communities, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit corporation. SCORE is an acronym for “Serving and Creating Opportunities Redesigned with Equity.”

Prior to SCORE in Communities, she was the Executive Director of T & T Promotions providing professional services coordinating conferences, fundraisers, concerts, and trainings for nonprofit, civic, and government organizations. One of her most notable projects “One America”, a two-day student art exhibit promoting “One America in the 21st Century: The President’s Initiative on Race” was recognized by John Hope Franklin and former President
William J. Clinton.

Gwen is currently a member of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) and served as president of the Cavalier Chapter four times, receiving national awards for Best Practices in League Management in 2009 and 2018. In March of 2018, Gwen was recognized as the “Personality of the Month” for her role as president and “Hattitude” in the Richmond Free Press. She is also a member of the Nu Lambda Mu International Honor Society for Nonprofit Management, Philanthropy, and Social Entrepreneurship & Enterprise. As a keynote speaker and inspiring facilitator, her experience with youth and women continues to result in speaking engagements during International Youth Conferences and conventions held throughout the United States.

She has traveled to Israel, Greece, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico, Italy, Bermuda, The US Virgin Islands, Turkey, Turks & Caicos, Amsterdam, Ghana, and multiple states in the US.

Gwen holds a Master of Nonprofit Studies from the University of Richmond, a B.A. in Psychology from Pace University, and a Project Management Certificate from the Project Management Institute. She is a woman of faith, lives in Glen Allen Virginia, and loves to spend time with family, read play board games, and travel.
