My name is Aurélien Zang-Atangana. French, with origins ranging from Congo-Brazaville, to Cameroon, all the way to Guadeloupe, I just finished my bachelor of history and international relations at King’s College London. I am willing to specialize my studies in the field of security and crisis management, and therefore applied for a masters at Leiden university in this area of expertise. As my final year’s project, I wrote a dissertation on the slave revolutions in Guadeloupe and Saint-Domingue, the latter giving birth to the first independent black nation: Haïti.
